Born in the sun-kissed hills of Carfizzi, in Calabria’s Crotone district, Madre Goccia Calabria IGT is a sophisticated white wine shaped by clay-limestone soils and a Mediterranean climate, ideal for aromatic expressions.
A blend of Greco Bianco and Chardonnay, the wine preserves its fresh fruit and floral delicacy through cool fermentation in steel and gentle pressing. After a brief bottle maturation at controlled temperature, it reveals clarity and balance.
In the glass, it shows a straw yellow hue with greenish reflections, while the bouquet offers delicate floral notes, alongside tropical fruit and dried apricot. The palate is round and fruity, with a crisp, lingering finish.
Madre Goccia is a serene yet expressive white, capturing the authentic charm of Calabria’s winemaking. It pairs beautifully with fish appetizers, seafood pasta, and shellfish.
