Made from a 50/50 blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, Maremma Toscana is a refined and well-balanced red wine.
Aged for 18 months in French oak barriques (first and second passage) after an 18-day maceration at a controlled 28°C, with periodic pump-overs, it then undergoes at least 8 months of bottle refinement.
With a deep ruby red color, it offers intense aromas of red fruits, juniper, spices, and black pepper. The palate is broad, persistent, and flawlessly balanced, leading to a long, rich finish with lingering spice and herbal notes.
Perfect with rich pasta dishes, cured meats, and red meats, this harmonious and sophisticated red is a remarkable expression of Tuscany’s Bordeaux-style winemaking.
