Description
Made entirely from Aglianico grapes grown at an elevation of 300 meters in the center of the Taburno region, TabaRosso is a powerful and sophisticated red wine. This wine’s strong mineral backbone and age-worthy structure come from the clay-limestone soils in which the vines are grown.
The grapes are harvested in mid-October and fermented for a lengthy time at a regulated temperature. They then spend a year in French oak, which softens the edges and gives a hint of spice.
The scent is immediately complex and expressive, with dark fruit, dried florals, and a hint of toasted wood. The glass displays a ruby crimson core. The traditional grip of Aglianico is delicately enveloped in taste, giving the palate a hard yet refined texture.
Like the area it comes from, this wine is powerful yet restrained, expressing place, season, and tradition. This Aglianico del Taburno DOCG has been recognized and appreciated, and it is ready to go with your most expensive meals or to sit in your cellar for a long time.
