Description
Volpe DOP’s Sannio Coda is one of those wines that doesn’t call for attention, yet it wins you over with a sophisticated serenity. At an elevation of 350 meters above sea level, the limestone-rich soils emerge from the clay terrain, giving it a distinct and genuine profile.
This wine, which was vinified in stainless steel and harvested during the first two weeks of September, preserves the natural freshness of the grape and comes to life with distinct and precise aromas of white flowers, green apple, and a hint of wet stone. It’s smooth, dry, and surprisingly brisk—ideal for those who appreciate simple yet healthy food.
I gave Veronelli 88 points, but what impresses me most is how easy it is to drink. A great match for Mediterranean dishes or casual, refreshing moments.
