Description
Made from a blend of Catarratto and Grillo, two of Sicily’s most iconic native grapes, Bianco Sicilia DOC is a crisp, mineral-forward white wine.
Sourced from the Terrazze Sopra Pino and Bosco vineyards in Patti, Messina, this wine benefits from a unique hillside exposure overlooking the sea. The area’s dry, windy climate intensifies the bouquet and sharpens the acidity.
After hand-harvesting in early September, only 60% of the first-run juice is used for fermentation. The wine is aged on fine lees in stainless steel for five months with batonnage, followed by three months of bottle refinement, building depth, structure, and aromatic vibrancy.
With a vivid straw yellow color, it reveals aromas of citrus, white flowers, and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is well-balanced and refreshing, with lively acidity and a distinct mineral touch, making it a top choice for seafood lovers and fans of crisp, expressive whites.
